July 2005 Archives

Weird report on the BBC mentioning a man picking up shoes abandoned by fleeing ladies. He told the reporter he didn't know why he was doing it. Yeeeeees.

And now "police brains" are sitting around a table having a meeting, says Andrew Marr.

Member of public on potential bomber: "I would have stopped him but I had two heavy bags!"

I am working in a pub. It is almost nothing like Cheers, although one of the regulars does have a reserved seat at the bar complete with a brass plaque.

One of the other regulars is Gareth, whom the landlord informs me is, "Welsh, but he can't help it."

I also had to do a computer learning thing which taught me all about the FIRE TRIANGLE and that if I follow the CAREER TREE I could one day run my own pub.

Holy shit, a bus blew up round the corner.
